Are our schools segrated? And if they are, what effect does this have on society?

Hasmita, a parent with children at primary school, asks if research has been done on segration in the school system.  If schools are segrated, what effect does this have on community cohesion?

Dr Alice Bradbury replies that segration in the education system does exist, and that researchers are concerned about its divisive effects on society.
